Four spoons. One story.
Chunky turquoise howlite meets a spoon cross pendant forged from four vintage silverware handles—each cut, shaped, and united in the Argosy pattern. This bold choker length necklace blends style, history and handmade goodness into a lovely whole creation - perfect for those drawn to the past and inspired by the present.

The pendant is made from the handles of 4 pieces of silverware. The four spoon handles were carefully cut to fit together then prepped before being married together to form this gorgeous cross. The necklace portion is comprised of large turquoise howlite chunks sphere shaped beads as well as 6mm and 4mm silverplate sphere beads topped with a silverplate link chain.  The chain is adorned with more beads and has length to allow for variability in length - clasp where you think it looks best.

Please note, this item is an actual HANDmade silverware creation, not a cast replica of a handmade silverware creation. All the beads have been handstrung in house.

Manufacturer: 1847 Rogers
Pattern Name: Argosy
Pattern Date: 1926
Designer: Ernest T.Beck
Size: 7-8" drop of necklace - depending on where you clasp it on the adjustable chain - a true choker. Cross pendant ~2-5/8" tall x ~ 1-7/8" wide.

Typically, the crosses are handmade by Matt and strung on a howlite necklace by Jen. This particular cross was made after Matt had hand surgery, so this is Jen's first cross. It did not come together quite as nicely as Matt's do, but it was still so pretty. So, price on this one is reflective of it's variability.

For all our designs we choose wonderful vintage/antique silverplate cutlery. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all HANDmade, one-of-a-kind creations.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
