Rich with detail, this spoon cuff bursts with blooms of various types - a virtual flower garden that runs the length of the piece. This bracelet has a wonderful weight to it as well. The spoon bowl end was partially retained and was carefully contoured to mimic the other end of the bracelet.
In Victorian times flowers were given as a way of conveying a special feeling. There were even flower dictionaries to which you would refer when trying to figure out the flower code of your gift. With that in mind, it is no surprise that flowers are a popular and prominent motif on antique silverware.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality.
