A truly original idea started in Matt’s hands late one cold Friday night in the studio (when we lived in the Chicago suburbs). It’s one of those pieces that feels unmistakably “us,” and we’re proud to share the design we created from scratch.

When we first made this piece, there wasn’t anything else like it out there. Pricing it was tricky because we were creating something completely new. It’s become one of our signature designs (like our Casserole Spoon Belt Buckles) — one that truly started with us.

HANDcrafted from an upcycled vintage serving spoon, this charcuterie knife blends beauty and sustainability with thoughtful function. The heart‑shaped handle — complete with our original finger‑indent design — fits naturally in your hand, letting you apply direct downward pressure for easier, safer cutting of firm cheeses.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike. 

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
