Fork Bookmark - CARPE LIBRUM SEIZE THE BOOK

A true bibliophile probably doesn’t need a translation for CARPE LIBRUM—but just in case someone nearby is tempted to ask, we went ahead and stamped the meaning right on the bookmark. Seize the book. Obviously.

This piece began life as a vintage silverplate serving/meat fork before wandering into the studio and getting reborn as a bookmark with opinions. Cut, shaped, and hand‑stamped with CARPE LIBRUM – SEIZE THE BOOK, it’s a tiny rallying cry for readers who treat every page like a small adventure.

Upcycled, bookish, and just a little smug about its Latin.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratched or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
