Fork Elephant Necklace with Hamsa Bead - #6212
This fork elephant necklace is handcrafted from an upcycled vintage silverplate fork, transformed into a whimsical piece of silverware jewelry. A longtime customer favorite, this elephant pendant is finished with a meaningful Hamsa bead for added symbolism and charm.
The Hamsa Hand is an ancient Middle Eastern symbol known for protection and blessing. Across many cultures, it represents the Hand of God and is believed to bring happiness, luck, health, and good fortune to its wearer.
Elephants carry their own powerful meaning as well. They symbolize good luck, prosperity, the removal of obstacles, strength, wisdom, memory, vitality, and fertility — making this necklace a layered talisman of positivity.
To create this piece, the fork’s handle was repurposed for another design, while the remaining tines were hand‑cut, shaped, stamped, and polished into this adorable pachyderm. The finished elephant pendant hangs from a silverplate "dot n dash" chain, celebrating sustainability, craftsmanship, and the playful spirit of upcycled jewelry.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware — giving each piece a second life as eco-friendly, upcycled jewelry, accessories or housewares. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.
Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silverplate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
