Gorham Regent Knife Handle Bottle Opener – “Atlantic” Monogram
Pop bottles like a boss from the Boardwalk. This sculptural bottle opener is crafted from an antique Gorham silverplate knife handle in the Regent pattern—designed in 1903 by William C. Codman, the same visionary behind Gorham’s most iconic sterling masterpieces. The handle bears the monogram Atlantic, likely commissioned by a hotel or club with ties to the golden age of East Coast indulgence - such as the Grand Atlantic Hotel in Atlantic City in the early 1900s.

We’ve paired this vintage beauty with a precision-machined stainless steel opener made in Weldon, Missouri from FDA-grade 18-8 stainless—Winery and FDA tested, and built to last. It stands upright like a miniature monument to good taste, equally at home on a bar cart or gift table.

Boardwalk Empire vibes:
If Nucky Thompson had a bottle opener, this would be it. It’s the kind of piece you’d expect to find behind the bar at Babette’s Supper Club—equal parts elegance and edge, with a history steeped in whispered deals and champagne toasts. Whether you’re hosting a speakeasy-style soirée or just cracking open a cold one, this opener brings the drama.

Perfect for hostesses, collectors, or anyone who wants to spark conversation with every cap popped. Warning: may cause envy and unsolicited compliments at your next gathering.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful vintage/antique silverplate cutlery. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
