Knife Vase or Boutonniere with Magnet - ADORATION

Our Knife Vases are the tiny, unforgettable gifts that somehow work for everyone—teachers, book‑club buddies, vintage lovers, that friend who already has everything… all of them. They’re small, budget‑friendly, and just quirky enough to spark a “wait… is that a knife handle?” moment.

You get to choose the vibe: a magnetic vase for fridge‑floral glory or a boutonniere for the stylishly unexpected.

Each piece begins as a vintage silver‑plate holloware knife handle from 1847 Rogers’ Adoration pattern (1930). We cut the handle right at its naturally hollow sweet spot, then grind, file, and buff it until it’s smooth and gleaming. A strong magnet or suction cup finishes the transformation, turning it into a charming little hanging vase ready for a fresh stem.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.  

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratched or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
