Each vase begins as a vintage silver‑plate holloware knife handle from the Mountain Rose pattern. We cut the handle right at its naturally hollow sweet spot, then grind, file, and buff it until it’s smooth and shiny. Add your choice of a strong magnet or a sturdy suction cup, and suddenly you’ve got a miniature vase that hangs out on your fridge or window.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike. 

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratched or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
