Spoon Belt Buckle - PEACE #5898
You’ve never seen a belt buckle like this because, honestly, who else is out here turning vintage silverware into wearable attitude? No One! Our proprietary design buckle starts its life as a vintage silverplate casserole spoon, then gets decked out with details salvaged from other pieces of silverware—upcycling at its most rebellious.
Front and center sits a hand‑stamped peace symbol, pressed into the bowl of a round bullion spoon and then applied to the larger spoon like a tiny metal manifesto. Flip it over and you’ll find the catch and prongs, each one fashioned from rescued silverware scraps that finally get their moment to shine. No molds, no shortcuts—just pure handmade ingenuity.
A quick head‑up: this listing is for the buckle only. The belt in the photos is just doing its modeling job. To wear it, you’ll need a standard snap belt, the kind made for swapping out custom buckles. Odds are you already have one hanging in your closet. And this particular buckle is made for a lefty belt.
Dimensions: ~4" x ~3". Fits a leather belt up to 1-1/2" wide.
For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.
Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silverplate, fine scratch marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
