Spoon Belt Buckle - PEACE- #1860

This upcycled silverware belt buckle is handcrafted from a vintage silverplate casserole spoon and hand-stamped with a peace symbol — an eco-friendly, one-of-a-kind accessory with a message.

Our proprietary design Spoon Belt Buckles are made from a vintage silverplate casserole spoons and are adorned with applied pieces of other silverplate silverware. In this case, the peace symbol is made from a bouillon spoon that is stamped with the peace symbol and is then applied to the casserole spoon. The back side has the catch and prongs fashioned from other bits and pieces of silverware.

Please note, this listing is only for the buckle. Shown on a belt so you can see how it looks. To use this buckle you simply need to attach to a "snap belt". A snap belt is the industry standard for swapping out custom belt buckles. You probably already have one in your closet!

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware — giving each piece a second life as eco-friendly, upcycled jewelry, accessories or housewares. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result there may be some wear to the silverplate, fine scratch marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
