Spoon Belt Buckle - Heart #2295
Our proprietary Spoon Belt Buckles begin life as vintage silverplate casserole spoons, the kind that once lived in kitchen drawers and holiday tables. In the workshop, they get a second act: reshaped, reimagined, and dressed up with rescued bits of other silverware. This one carries a fork‑tine heart right at its center — a tiny love note forged from something that once stabbed potatoes and twirled pasta. Even the catch and prongs on the back are crafted from reclaimed silverware scraps, each piece with its own past life and its own story to tell.
The result is a buckle with soul — a little romantic, a little rebellious, and a whole lot of character packed into one bold piece of wearable art.
A quick note: this listing is for the buckle only. The belt in the photos is just doing its modeling job. To wear it, you’ll need a standard snap belt, the kind made for swapping out custom buckles. There’s a good chance you already have one tucked away in your closet.
Dimensions: ~ 3 3/4" x ~ 3 7/8". ~ 1/2" deep. Fits a leather belt up to 1-3/4" wide.
For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.
Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silverplate, fine scratch marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
