This mermaid tail (or whale tail) necklace is handmade from the bowl of a vintage teaspoon. This upcycled silverplate spoon is an homage to the ocean with a delicately contoured whale tail shape. We call this line "beach life jewelry" and all the work on this piece is completed by hand. This pendant is accented with beads that reflect the ocean - large cultured pearl surrounded by sea foam green Czech glass beads
Dimensions: Pendant is 2 1/8" long x 1 1/2" wide. Hangs from a 21" silverplate chain.
Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
