Spoon Mermaid Tail Whale Tail Necklace with Rhinestone & Blue Bead

This mermaid tail (or whale tail) necklace is handmade from the bowl of a vintage teaspoon. This upcycled silverplate spoon is an homage to the ocean with a delicately contoured whale tail shape. We call this line "beach life jewelry" and all the work on this piece is completed by hand. This pendant is accented with a light blue bead that reflect the ocean along with a rhinestone bead for a little sparkle. 

Dimensions: Pendant is 2-1/4" long x 1-5/8" wide. Hangs from a 20" silverplate chain.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike. 

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
