WHAT IS SPOON THEORY?
Spoon Theory is a simple, relatable way to describe what it’s like to navigate life with a chronic illness or disability. Think of spoons as your daily energy tokens. You only get a limited number each morning, and every task throughout the day uses one up.

Getting out of bed might cost a spoon.
Taking a shower? Maybe two.
Making breakfast, running errands, answering messages — they all take spoons, too.

And once your spoons are gone, your energy is gone for the day. There’s no endless reserve to pull from. That’s why people with chronic conditions have to be intentional about where their spoons go.

Meanwhile, folks without health limitations often move through the day with what feels like an unlimited spoon supply — they don’t have to think about conserving energy or choosing between tasks.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
