This whale tail (or mermaid tail) necklace is handmade from the bowl of a vintage teaspoon. We upcycled this silverplate spoon into a lovely homage to the ocean with a delicately contoured whale tail shape. All the work on this piece is completed by hand. Instead of accenting this necklace with beads, we chose NOT to adorn it so that the delicate original detail at the neck could be appreciated. Hangs from a silverplate chain.

Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear to the silver-plate, fine scratches or marks from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We will do our best to disclose any condition issues of note.
