Product description

This sterling silver spoon ring is handcrafted from an upcycled antique Kirk & Son demitasse spoon — eco-friendly silverware jewelry with a full-design floral pattern that blooms continuously around the entire band. The floral pattern doesn’t just decorate the piece—it flows continuously, blooming all the way around the band like it never wanted to stop. The sterling gives it that signature weight and warmth we all love.

Kirk Stieff’s Repoussé pattern—introduced in 1828 and known as the oldest sterling silver pattern ever produced in the U.S.—is the star here. Samuel Kirk, trained in Philadelphia and always one for bold artistry, revived the centuries‑old repoussé technique to create this deeply textured, dramatic floral design. It’s intricate, it’s expressive, and it’s exactly why transforming pieces like this into rings feels so special.

For all of our designs we choose wonderful authentic vintage/antique silverware — giving each piece a second life as eco-friendly, upcycled jewelry or accessories. Once chosen, the pieces are modified and beautified by HAND; they are cut, drilled, filed and polished, etc. We do not cast/mold any of our designs, they are all handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. All of our creations are handmade - as such no two items are exactly alike.
Condition: Please note, this is an antique item that was once used as a utensil. As a result, there may be some wear from use. But some wear gives the piece patina and personality. We do our best to disclose any condition issues of note. Since this is sterling, it is solid metal so there is no wear of which to speak.
